Can more details be given regarding the Competency of gender expert?

VVBs interested in auditing gender responsive requirements should contact GS for further information and may propose their own gender experts, demonstrating competence through e.g. the expert’s experience or training.

In case the across PoA sampling is part of the monitoring plan and sample from some CPA/VPA are not part of CME’s samples, how the VVB would ensure sample for acceptance sampling from each VPA/CPA in that case?

Is acceptance sampling mandatory in a remote audit?

Yes, acceptance sampling is mandatory for all projects that require a sampling approach.

Is GS currently accepting registration/ issuance request for the host country, Zimbabwe?

We are accepting projects but issuance and registration will not be taking place. If you have any questions that relate to the Certification process and Issuance in Zimbabwe, please contact the Gold Standard’s helpdesk directly.

Under what circumstances is a complementary LSC not required?

Complementary LSC with two rounds in line with GS4GG stakeholder consultation requirement is required for every project type. In the case of design change, if the change affects the stakeholders, an additional LSC is required, otherwise it can be avoided. PD shall discuss if and why there is or is not a need to conduct a complemenrary stakeholder consultation for the renewal of the crediting period.
