- Unless necessary to ensure an appropriate implementation of the intervention/Program, stakeholder consultation is not mandatory. It is, however, mandatory to briefly summarize any consultations that have already taken place.
- Note that SC recommends, as part of best practice, a stakeholder consultation at an early stage, as well as in the context of a feedback mechanism.

Key Questions
- Have any stakeholder consultations already taken place? If so, have you summarized them and their related outcome in the IDD?
- Is there a plan to inform the involved suppliers (e.g. landowners) of their engagement in the intervention?
- All parties involved (e.g., landowners) should understand that they are involved in an intervention and/or program and that they are giving up rights to any claims from the intervention and/or program to the Certificate Holder.
- Has the Certificate Holder thought about mitigating any business, reputational, or community risks that could potentially emerge from their intervention or Program of interventions?
