OBJECTIVE & KEY LEARNINGS

The main goal of this lesson is:​

  • To provide guidance to a Project Developer on how to initiate a Design Certification Renewal for CDM and GSCER projects seeking transition to GS4GG

At the end of the training, participants should be able to:

  • Clarify how the GS4GG crediting period rules apply to CDM projects that are in the process of transitioning to GS4GG (GS VER), including projects that were initially part of GSCER
  • Understand the possible scenarios under a CDM project transitioning to GS4GG, each with its corresponding requirements for design certification renewal.
  • Carry out a Project Design Renewal for CDM and GSCER projects seeking transition to GS4GG
