Summit Overview
Energy is an important factor in all the sectors of any country’s economy and it plays the most vital role in the economic growth, progress, and development, as well as poverty eradication and security of any nation. The standard of living of a given country can be directly related to the per capita energy consumption. Future economic growth crucially depends on the long-term availability of energy from sources that are affordable, accessible, and environmentally friendly.
The aim of this summit is to bring together regulators, stakeholders and professionals in the energy/power sector and focus on a range of governance, operations, transition and emerging threats and opportunities facing the sector. Themes to be discussed at this event include the relationship between carbon emission and quality of standard of living, explore the penetration of renewable energy in the Nigerian space and address the risk governance issues facing the sector
