OBJECTIVES & KEY LEARNINGS

The main goal of this course is:​

• To provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the baseline. ​

At the end of the course, participants should be able to:​

• Identify the benefits of proving the success of a project against an existing baseline, including environmental, and regulatory compliance, new opportunities, and financial benefits.​
• Explain the role of additionality within the baseline and its significance in preventing inflation of environmental impact, ensuring accurate assessment, and enhancing project credibility within carbon markets.​
• Recognize the interrelation between baseline and additionality for effective project evaluation.​
